2021 Shelby Super Snake Speedster

Shelby Super Snake Speedster
While this car may have started as a "lowly" 2021 Mustang GT, if nobody had told you that tidbit of information you'd have no idea when looking at it. As part of Shelby's "Bundle of Snakes" lineup (created to celebrate Carroll Shelby's 98th birthday), not only is it more powerful than a standard mustang, it's also extremely rare, with only 98 produced. If you were somehow lucky enough to order one new, you'd have to fork over a lot of cash too, with the Speedster costing $4995 more than the already ludicrously expensive $133,785 Super Snake Coupe.
Underneath the hood sits a 5.0 Coyote V8 with a 3.0L Whipple supercharger nestled in between the cylinder banks producing 825 horsepower and 630 ft-lbs of torque. Because the car started as a standard Mustang GT, owners could choose between a 10-Speed automatic or 6-Speed manual transmission. Shelby also fitted the car with an upgraded cooling system (complete with an improved radiator, a polished aluminum overflow tank, and a heat exchanger), a Borla exhaust, and the manual-transmission-equipped cars received a short thrown shifter. What makes this car so special is it was ordered with the optional widebody package, which many customers passed on the option, allowing wider tires to be fitted to increase traction and handling.
